What is IATA Fares and Ticketing I & II?
IATA is the International Air Transport Association - IATA Fares and Ticketing I & II is an online course that will teach you how to calculate IATA fares using your computer reservations systems formats.

What the course covers
This course will teach you how to calculate IATA Fares using a CRS, also includes Calculate Normal and Advanced International Airfares.
Course graduates will therefore be able to maximise the use of their GDS/CRS in the workplace, applying the information in their reservations systems to produce accurate airfare quotations for clients.
This course provides the qualification necessary to become a travel agent in Australia.

You will learn how to accurately interpret airfare information and construct airfares which meet the client needs. Includes air itineraries for Mixed Class airfares, Add-ons, Minimum fare checks, PTA’s, indirect travel limitations, side trips, round the world journeys, open journeys, pricing unit concept, currency conversion, airline ticketing.

PREREQUISITES
Experience using Galileo CRS, Sabre CRS or Amadeus CRS.
This course is designed for industry personnel who need to know more about IATA fare construction using a CRS. Construct Normal International Airfares is included inside the course content.
ASSESSMENTS
Progressive online and workbook assessment with a final assessment that combines IATA background knowledge and fare construction principles.
