Requirements

The system requirements for Hayton's online travel and tourism courses can be met by most modern computers and a broadband connection.

Most of our courses have no formal prerequisites, although competent English and basic computer skills are a must - if you can navigate a web page you can take a Hayton course!

The system requirements differ slightly for the type of course - these are detailed on the course pages but we've provided them here as a summary.

Computer Reservations, IATA Fares and Ticketing & IATA Fare Consturction

These courses are accessed through a custom-developed courseware browser that you download and install on your computer. The courseware browser doesn't require a powerful computer (Windows 95 and above) but it does require Windows and Internet Explorer. You will also need a broadband internet connection.

Other Courses

Other courses are accessed via the internet in a standard web browser. Internet Explorer 6.1 and higher or Firefox 1.5 and higher are supported, although we recommend you use Firefox 2.0+. You will need a broadband internet connection.

Hayton College provides online training courses to the travel and tourism industry.
